Hospitals and clinics are one of the building types Swati Constructions takes on from Khammam, alongside houses, apartments, and commercial work. The company has been building since 2012 and was registered in November 2014. We do not publish a list of hospital names. A clinic is a working place, and putting its name on a contractor’s website without a clear ask would be careless. What we publish is the kind of building, and the limit of our role.

Drawings first

The healthcare planner and the architect decide the departments, the corridor widths, the relationship of waiting to consulting, and where a procedure room sits. We build that set. We do not invent a clinical layout, and we do not offer this website as infection-control advice. Ramps, lifts, and door widths follow the approved drawings and the rules that apply to that project. Building permission in Khammam town is generally a Khammam Municipal Corporation matter. Clinical licensing is a separate matter for the operator. Neither is something we take off the owner’s desk.

The hospital service page covers drop-off, services shafts, generator and water yards, and finishes that can be cleaned. Those are construction issues. They are also the issues that get forgotten when a plan is only an elevation of a white building with a canopy.

Building next to care that has already started

Some healthcare projects extend a place that is already seeing patients. Access for the vehicles that already come, and the hours when a noisy pour is tolerable, have to be agreed. We would rather write that into the sequence than discover it on the day. Handover includes the ramp, the toilets, and the plant yard, not only the rooms that face the garden.
