Independent houses are the project type Swati Constructions has carried since the journey began in 2012, and since registration in November 2014. This page is not a catalogue of named clients. Publishing a neighbour’s house as a trophy, without their ask and without a real photograph, would be a worse kind of portfolio. What Swati Constructions can describe is the building the company is asked to make, again and again, on sites the team can actually supervise.
The house as it is usually briefed
A family owns a plot. They want a ground floor that an elder can live on, one or two floors above, a porch, a compound wall, and a stair that does not eat the only bedroom. Water is a sump and an overhead tank. The road may be narrow. The side setbacks are real. Sometimes a further floor is a hope for later, and that hope has to be in the structural drawing or it has to be dropped. Structurally the house is an RCC frame to the engineer’s drawing, with brick or block infill, waterproofed toilets and terrace, and a finish schedule chosen before plaster turns into tile. Vastu preferences are welcome as a planning input. They do not overrule the frame. Sanction in Khammam town generally sits with the Khammam Municipal Corporation, and it stays the owner’s duty.
How we talk about a finished house
When a house is done, the people who should say so are the family who live in it. Until they do, in their own words, this website will not invent a quotation and a name. Visits during the work are welcome. Stages are written in the agreement. We do not print a square-foot rate, because the soil and the frontage change the foundation.
If several related houses share one layout, that is group housing. If the families are stacking flats on a common stair, that is an apartment.
